Where were you born?
Belleville, IL. (small suburb of St. Louis) My ex-husband’s job with Amtrak brought us here from Chicago 10 years ago.
In your free time what do you like to do?
In my free time I love to do anything that allows me to be with nature. I also love live music, connecting with good friends over good food and good wine, and tending to my garden.
What is your greatest accomplishment?
My greatest accomplishment is completing my Masters degree and my yoga teacher certification, after age 35, all while raising 2 preteen children.
Something others might not know about you:
I’m a huge Star Trek fan! (Next Gen and Voyager to be specific!)
A short bio:
Kelly George is a 200 hour registered yoga instructor who is trained in the Ashtanga Vinyasa tradition. She has been practicing yoga for over 17 years and has a deep passion for sharing embodied practices that honor the mind-body-spirit connection. She incorporates mindful meditation into every class and emphasizes the importance of alignment and balance. She enjoys teaching Slow Flow, Hatha, and various levels of Vinaysa. Community building and promoting self-care are some of her main goals in sharing yoga.
